Popular daytime TV show; Deal or No Deal is set to take its production online. Endemol, who owns the rights to the TV programme has released it’s statement today stating that they will be delivering an interactive version of thee is to build an interactive version of hit show Deal or No Deal for online.

The new game will appear on WeDigTV.com, an existing interactive gaming website that shows versions of cult TV programmes such as Blockbuster, Bullseye and Catchphrase.

To cater for the online version, specific footage will be shot which allow users to act as consultants on the show.

Head of Products and Brand Exploitation for Endemol, Jurian VanDerMeer, comments:

Consumers are increasingly turning to the Internet for video and we believe that the potential for rich interactive online formats and subsequent advertising is huge. By partnering with WeDigTV we aim to take shows that have proven themselves in a traditional TV environment and create a new online phenomenon.
