Homework has become easier in Ulster as a new website has been launched to make it easier for parents to help their children.
The Homework Rules website, which has been created by a collaboration of website designers, Belfast Metropolitan College, parents and schools from the Greater Shankill area, is designed to help parents with children aged between seven and 11.
The website is part of the Government’s Renewing Communities drive and provides parents and children alike with a wide range of online resources such as calculators, conversion tables and a maths dictionary.
There are also tips available to help parents and children get to grips with homework, particularly where maths is concerned.
Homework Rules has already received over 27,000 recorded hits and is proving extremely popular with parents and children alike.
