Tesco has created a new website in Polish. This has followed unprecedented demand for Polish delicacies in Britain.
With the Polish community growing Tesco has doubled its stock of products from 250 to 500 stores. Tesco Polish food buyer Kaska Teofilak said:
The huge demand for Polish delicacies in Britain has overwhelmed us to the extent that we have exceeded our original expectation by tenfold.
The rocketing demand means that Polish has become the fastest-growing ethnic food range we have ever launched including our Indian and Chinese cuisines, so the launch of the dedicated website for Poles is a logical step forward.
As well as being able to shop online, Poles will also be able to find their nearest store stocking the Polish range at tesco.com.
