Moodboards
Moodboards present a very top level visual idea of the 'feel' of a website or app. This allows you to define and agree the foundations of your online identity before moving on to more detailed creative design. Moodboards are also a great communication tool, ensuring that all aspects of your online identity are "on brand".
Moodboards are beneficial in preventing any conflict of ideas later on in the development. When you use moodboards with wireframes (which define the structure and layout of the pages), the final design shouldn't hold any surprises.
To create your moodboards, we will collaboratively gather various visual examples relevant to your requirements; including colours, photography, images and typography. The elements will be translated and will provide you with initial look-and-feel ideas.
You should consider moodboards if:
- You need to define and agree your online visual identity.
- You need to communicate your visual brand within your organisation.
