Life in the Delivery Team

You’ll be joining our Delivery team, under our recently-appointed Delivery Director, the team is made up of extremely talented Project Executives, Project Managers, Snr Project Manager and Delivery Managers. You would be working side by side with the Head Of PMO ensuring our Programme Partnerships adhere to our processes & governance.

We deliver projects / programmes for a wide range of clients across both public and private sectors, using the best methodologies and tools for the job.

What you’ll be doing

The Principal Delivery Manager at Nomensa, will be accountable for ensuring that Nomensa’s Programme Partnership client’s digital services and platforms meet the user need and the outcomes agreed between Nomensa and the client. You’ll be accountable for ensuring Programme Partnerships meet our agreed profitability levels across the board and ensuring our delivery follows Nomensa’s governance, Terms of Reference and quality standards across all Programme Partnership accounts.

You will mentor and line manage the team Delivery Managers working across a variety of projects for clients, in both Agile & Waterfall methodologies. You’ll leverage successful delivery and senior client relationships to win new business with existing customers and support sales activity to do likewise with new customers, and you’ll provide the teams with Agile coaching and ensure our Agile Portfolio and ceremonies are operating efficiently

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years of demonstrable experience delivering digital transformation either Client or Agency side, with:

  • Substantial experience in managing and leading project teams including line management responsibility.
  • Experience of working with Technical Architects, BAs, UX, Design and Developers (desirable)
  • Evidence of taking responsibility for contract and commercial terms on projects.
  • Experience of adhering to robust project governance and technical quality standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to track and report on profitability.
  • Experience in communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of project delivery aimed at digital transformation.
  • Experience of managing large-scale agile projects involving multi-supplier teams.
  • Agile delivery methodology including User Story Backlog management and sprint ceremonies.
