We’ve grown significantly in the past two years and have ambitious growth plans for the future. With over 140 staff across Bristol, London, and Amsterdam, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Manager to join us in our Bristol office.

The role

You will be responsible for developing, coordinating and maintaining our internal IT infrastructure and security needs (hardware, software and services). We are growing fast and have an appetite to continuously improve what and how we do things, so you’ll need to have the experience to help us scale our IT and an enthusiasm for process and systems improvement.

You’ll be technically proficient, well-versed in all the areas the role entails, from managing our service desk (currently using Jira) and our software licences through to managing the documentation for our accreditations such as ISO 27001 and our asset inventory.

Reporting to our Tech Director, as lead of a business service function you’ll get to collaborate with colleagues across the business and work on a variety of projects that will be on the team roadmap you will help to create. You’ll care about developing your team and supporting their personal growth and acquisition of technical capabilities and will be passionate about building a high performing team culture with excellent service delivery at its heart.

What we’re looking for

  • Substantial experience in IT management and ideally in a comparable role
  • Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (O365, Sharepoint, MS Exchange, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
  • Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure) environment
  • Expertise in data centre management and data governance
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, network installation and network security
  • Professional IT certifications desirable
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework certification desirable
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred
  • TOGAF certified desirable
  • Information Systems Security Certification (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) desirabl
  • A great team manager with experience of successfully developing and managing a team
  • An effective team player with a proactive, “can do” attitude
  • Someone with experience of managing multiple stakeholders and who build effective working relationships across all parts of their role

Note: We have one role which can be hired at either Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level.
