Senior Project Manager

As a world class strategic UX agency, Nomensa has been designing experiences that have reached millions of people, since our inception in 2001. Due to some big client wins we’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to pick up on a variety of projects, spread across the charity, commercial and government sectors. You’ll be joining the growing ranks who work across Bristol, London and Amsterdam.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Project Manager at Nomensa, you’ll be managing a number of projects at any one time; anything from Digital Transformation, Web, App or CRM builds, accessibility audits, user testing etc. You could be working on existing projects with UX consultants, designers or developers one minute and planning new programmes of work with account managers and strategists the next. Your role will involve project planning, scoping, resource management, budget management, chairing client meetings, and much more, doing what’s needed to ensure these projects land on time and on budget.

Why you’ll love us

In this role you’ll be working with a fantastic group of clients and recognisable brands in different sectors, and you’ll have a range of projects to get stuck into that will challenge you and keep you interested from day one. There is plenty of room for growth and opportunities to develop your skills here. Our people love working at Nomensa, we’ve got a fantastic culture and we are one of the few companies within the UK to achieve Gold Standard accreditation by Investors in People.

What we need from you

We’re experts in usability, user research, accessibility, web design, development, service design and beyond, so if you have experience of managing or coordinating these types of projects then we’d love to hear from you. We’re keen to hear from people with Agile project management experience and if you are a certified scrum master, even better. Ideally you will have a considerable amount of digital agency PM experience, and understand the commercial nature of what it’s like to manage projects at an agency – and in a hybrid landscape of some office, some home working too, you’ll understand how to keep the people on your projects engaged and motivated.

How to apply

To apply, upload your CV to our recruitment site with a covering letter/email telling us why you’d be a great fit.

Note, the role is full-time although we are open to applications for a 0.8FTE or job share arrangement. This role is based in our Bristol office. We are currently enabling hybrid working (i.e. WFH and office based) so you don’t need to be BS1 based every day. These options would be discussed at interview.

The closing date for applications is: Wednesday 8th September 2021.

Competitive salary, 25 days holiday (rising to 30 days), your birthday off, pension, BUPA wellbeing, Employee Assistance Programme, Perkbox benefits, life insurance, cycle to work, time off for charity work.

Nomensa is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
