With offices in Bristol, London and Amsterdam, we have one of the largest and most talented teams of specialised user experience professionals in Europe and we are ready to offer an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our Bristol office as a Studio Administrator to help organise the people within our bustling design studio.
What you’ll be doing
As part of your apprenticeship and our commitment to your development you will be completing a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration. This will involve both on-the-job learning and off-site training over a 13 month period.
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in administration, project management, analysis, communication and problem solving with others to find solutions and manage our studio workload.
You’ll be supporting our Studio Manager in looking at our schedule of work, anything from design, research or web development briefs and you’ll be aiming to understand who is available in the studio to complete the work on time and then scheduling the work in.
With 100 people working at Nomensa, there is an abundance of projects we’re handling for the large organisations and well-known brands that make up our client base. You’ll be busy, but gaining great experience that could lead you into a career in digital project management or studio management and the job you’re doing will have an important day-to-day impact on the efficiency and profitability with which we run our business.
What we’re looking for
Working in an agency can be very busy, so it would be good if you’ve had previous office administration experience that you can apply to this role. You’ll be familiar with Microsoft Office and able to prioritise your work effectively, with high levels of attention to detail and an ability to analyse potential risks and solve problems fast such as resourcing gaps to ensure our projects are delivered on time for our clients.
As well as your lateral thinking, communication skills are important too, as you will be dealing with lots of people and speaking with them on a regular basis to ask questions or learn about their availability or any issues they are having with completing their work.
