The South West’s leading design conference is back! Join us for Collaborate Bristol on 1st July at the Watershed. Now in its eighth year, the event aims to encourage sharing, learning and networking within the digital community.

Attendees will have a unique chance to network with peers and learn from top brands and internationally renowned speakers against the backdrop of Bristol’s floating harbour.

We might be biased, but we’re certain it’ll be the best one yet – here are five reasons why it’s not to be missed!

1. It’s our first in-person conference in over two years!

During the first two years of the pandemic, we all had to adapt in some way or another – for us, this meant changing our events to be 100% digital. Despite running some fantastic virtual events, we can’t wait to step away from our screens and get back to our in-person conferences! There’s no better feeling than looking around the room to a sea of smiling faces.

2. Learn from the experts

Collaborate is an unmissable opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds across the worlds of design, UX and Ai. We’ve curated an exciting lineup of prestigious speakers to deliver inspiring talks on a range of subjects. Among those joining us will be:

  • Gavin Strange - Director and Designer at Aardman
  • Olumide Orisafeyijimi - Learning and Development Manager (Global) at WaterAid
  • Verity McIntosh - Researcher and Senior Lecturer in Extended and Virtual Realities at UWE Bristol
  • Joe Knowles - Director of UX at Nomensa
  • Benjamin Rand - Global Head of Product Support at CMR Surgical

And more! Make sure you’re following us on LinkedIn and Instagram for the latest news.

3. Amazing networking opportunities

Every year, Collaborate brings together the South West’s digital community, and this year feels particularly special as we reunite in the flesh. You’ll be sharing a room with designers, UXers, company directors and industry trailblazers and the networking opportunities are second to none. Sharing, learning and connecting is what the conference is all about, so come along to expand your circle and horizons.

4. Learn new skills, and sharpen existing ones

With knowledge sharing comes inspiration, so you might just come away from the conference with your next big idea. At the very least, you’ll leave with new skills, different perspectives and unique ways of thinking that you can share with your own teams and organisations.

5. Discover Bristol and support local businesses

This year we’re supporting local, independent businesses around Bristol, and every ticket holder will receive exclusive discounts, from coffee to yoga and everything in between! We’ll be revealing more information on this very soon – make sure you’re following us on our socials for the latest updates.
